As Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Development, Dan B. Leverett is responsible for leading his team in development activities including seeking new business opportunities, sourcing equity and capital for future PMRG projects as well as securing development sites and managing the overall development process for office and mixed-use projects.
An industry veteran, Mr. Leverett joins PMRG from The Woodland’s Development Company, L.P. for which he was responsible for commercial operations of the company’s urban mixed-use, office, retail, hotel and multi-family projects in The Woodlands, Texas. His extensive background in commercial real estate development, spans over 30 years and includes employment with notable companies such as Exxon Corporation, Friendswood Development and Atwood Oceanics.
During his 10 year career with Exxon Corporation, Mr. Leverett served in various positions with three subsidiaries, Exxon USA; where he managed Exxon’s office and industrial portfolio in the US, Canada and Central America; Friendswood Development, where he marketed and developed commercial office and retail properties; and with Exxon Chemical as a Financial Manager.
Mr. Leverett has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Lone Star College Foundation, the Board of Dean’s Advisory Council for Texas A&M University College of Architecture, Houston Chapter of CoreNet Global and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, ICSC and Rice Design Alliance. He holds a Texas Brokers license, an IFR rated pilot’s license and is a registered engineer in Texas.
