PM Realty Group Registration Agreement

1.1 Policy
It is the policy of the Company to offer use of its electronic resources to Partners for the purpose of business.
A. Objective “ To develop and implement a procedure that outlines the boundaries of usage of the Company's electronic resources by Partners
B. Applicability “ All Partners
C. Responsibility “ Supervisors, Managers, IT

1.2 General
The electronic resources are the property of the Company and are to be used for legitimate business purposes. Partners are granted access to these resources to assist them in the performance of their jobs. Each Partner has a responsibility to use these resources in a professional, lawful, and ethical manner. Inappropriate use of these resources may result in possible civil and/or criminal liability.

1.3 Procedure
A. Partner Use Limitations “ Only individuals currently assigned an account on the network by the Company may access data stored on these electronic resources. All electronic information stored on the network is the property of the Company and is subject to all the protections accorded intellectual property.
a. Personal use “ Occasional limited appropriate personal use of an electronic resource may be permitted if such use does not a) interfere with the user's or any other employee's job performance; b) have an undue effect on the computer or network's performance; c) or violate any other policies, provisions, or standards of the Company
b. Prohibited Activities “ Misuse of electronic resources and unprofessional behavior include (but are not limited to) the following:
i. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to a facility
ii. Using someone else's username and password outside the scope of employee's normal job responsibilities
iii. Giving your password to someone else
iv. Generating messages which appear to originate with someone else, or otherwise attempting to impersonate someone else
v. Sending messages which are abusive, a nuisance, or otherwise distressing
vi. Displaying offensive material
vii. Software piracy, including infringement of software licenses or copyright provisions
viii. Using the computer facilities for commercial gain without explicit authorization
ix. Physically damaging the computer resources
c. Unauthorized Copying “ Users may not illegally copy material under copyright law or make that material available to others for copying.  Partners are responsible for complying with copyright law and applicable licenses that may apply to software, files, graphics, documents, messages, and protected material downloaded from the Internet
d. Accessing the Internet “ The use of Company, Client, and/or Customer computer facilities to access the Internet is authorized for the performance of job-related tasks.  While accessing and using the Internet, an employee may not, for any reason, perform any act that constitutes illegal or unacceptable behavior
e. Virus Detection “ Files obtained from sources outside the Company, including disks brought from home, files downloaded from the Internet, or files attached to e-mail may contain dangerous computer viruses that could damage the Company's computer resources.  All such files must be scanned with company-approved virus checking software.  If a Partner suspects that a virus has been introduced to the Company's network, notify the Information Technology department immediately
B. No Expectation of Privacy
a. Partners should have no expectation of privacy in anything they create, store, send, or receive using the Company's electronic resources.  These resources are the property of the Company and may be used for their purposes
b. Waiver of privacy rights “ Partners expressly waive any right of privacy in anything they create, store, send, or receive using the Company's electronic resources.  Users consent to allow personnel access to and review of all materials created, stored, sent, or received through any Company Internet connection
c. Monitoring of usage “ The Company has the right to monitor and log any and all aspects of its electronic resources, including, but not limited to, the following Partner activities:
i. Internet sites visited by Partners
ii. Chat and newsgroups
iii. File downloads
iv. All communications sent and received
d. Blocking sites with inappropriate content “ The Company has the right to utilize software that makes it possible to block access to Internet sites containing sexually explicit or other material deemed inappropriate in the workplace

I understand that inappropriate use of the electronic resources may result in disciplinary action, including possible civil and/or criminal liability.
